Spend an afternoon in the early 1900’s

with our hard-working housewives, farmers, watermen, and students as they perform their daily chores. Churn butter, crank the ice cream freezer, make a needlework sample or tie some mariner’s knots, observe spinning and weaving, write on slates and participate in a Spelling Bee in our one room school, learn to grow tobacco, visit St. Mark’s Episcopal Chapel, attend a Beneficial Society meeting, or see if you descend from a member of the War of 1812 militia.
